I am delighted to hear that Rob Spinks has formed the Goal Australia Football Academy. Over the years that I worked alongside Rob at Blackpool Football Club I was impressed by Rob's technical knowledge, his enthusiasm and his intuitive coaching style. The reactions to Robs coaching at Blackpool's Centre of Excellence were outstanding. He encourages and teaches individual skills and creativity and his young teams always played with a self confidence and flair that belies their young years. I believe that every young football player from 7 years old on should be exposed to a coaching program like this and I am convinced that any parent enrolling their son or daughter into the Goal Australia Football Academy will be making the best football decision that they could ever make. |

On my recent visit to the Sunshine Coast I was invited to coach two training sessions for Goal Australia Football Academy. I found G.A.F.A. to be a really professionally run Academy. Commitment to skill and technical coaching plays a major part in the development of English Premiership players. It is great that Australia's young players are being exposed to a program like this. I am looking forward to be more involved and working in close association with G.A.F.A. in the future. |

This is great! I have never seen anything like this before on the Coast. The introduction of the field equipment just lifts the whole session and makes it very exciting for the players. If it's technical improvement you are after, then parents would have to be mad not to take advantage of sending their children to GAFA. It's affordable and I highly recommend all Churches players consider joining this Academy. |
